Tough Times
If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honoured, all the parts are glad. 1 Cor 12:26 (NLT)
As a body of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are called to hold each other up through the tough times and the exciting times. We need to share the load in the valleys and rejoice on the mountain tops. Be a comfort or a listening ear, or someone who is prepared to pray for one who is in need.
This week is very much a time when this truth needs to be upheld. As we unite in our joys or sorrows we invite the presence of God to abide in us and work His power through us.
Crestwood Church Membership
As many are now aware, we have over the past weeks been welcoming some of the church into a formal membership of Crestwood Church.
As we have stated many times before, we are not trying to form a club for the select few, we are happy that anyone can be a member of Crestwood Church, as long as they are able to agree to the following requirements:
- Those who have a personal faith in the Lord Jesus and are happy to accept the belief statement that we as a church hold to.
- Are regular and committed to Crestwood as their own local church.
- Those who accept that the lifestyle statement describes the sort of life that by the grace of God they are aiming to live.
